Memorial Day

Memorial Day is Holiday to honor those who died serving in the U.S Military. 

2)When is it? 

Memorial Day is on the last Monday of the month of May. 

3)What are some ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day? 

Some ways to show honor and respect to those who are in the military are attending to a ceremony that honors to those who fought or visiting a grave and thanking them. 

Memorial Day was first celebrated on May 30, 1868.Commander in chief John A. Logan Army of republic designated as May 30 as a Memorial Day.  

How I feel about Memorial day is that its a sad day because you are celebrating or honoring those who are already dead. It could be really emotional to those who lost a loved one while honoring our country.

These are true reasons on why you shouldn't lie because it can make you a better person and your image will be represented better. These are right examples on why you should tell the truth and its correct because it tells examples on how errors can be fix and making up lies can be worst. If you want to gain trust by someone you should always be honest with them.

Reflection: No, I wouldn't want to be a Yoga Therapist because I wouldn't enjoy teaching people how to move.

This means that if you have good or correct goals and achieve them the correct way everything else falls into place. If you pursue good goals then good thing will come to you. If you have goals that you need to accomplish you should always achieve them the correct way just like the rest of your goals as well. When you do good things life sometimes rewards you with good things as well. If you manage to do the correct thing you will probably always succeed.  

Wellness Specialists

Reflection: No, I wouldn't be this because it looks boring. I'am not looking forward to something like this.

What Dennis Prager is saying is that the most valuable thing you will ever have is good things. Thats what should be important to you is to have good values. For example you should do good things so your image can be shown as someone who has great values. If you don't have great values then your image as a person is different. It should be important to have great values. 

Veterinarian 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

-Examines animals to detect and determine the diseases they have.

-Cure, treat, and prescribe medication for them 

-Inform animal owners regarding there sanitary issue 

-Collect blood, urine or any other fluids for testing.

Education: Doctoral or Professional Degree and obtain a license 

 

Reflection: Maybe I would be a veterinarian because there is a lot of responsibility that goes to it and besides it you have to work with all certain types of animals. I wouldn't for sure be this because it involves working with reptiles as well.

What this quote is trying to refer as is that when you do the right thing you should feel all types of good feelings inside and feel good about yourself. She tells us that when doing the right thing has self-respect and dignity etc... because that all comes along when doing the right thing. What she refers to when you do the right thing is that you shouldn't think that you should be rewarded with a prize and just be rewarded with knowing that you did the right thing.

Sports Medicine

>Diagnose and treat athletes and other people suffering from a sport related injury or illness.

Phillip Riggs' Four Success Tips 

1. Work Hard

2. Follow your passions. Do things you are interested in doing. 

3. Don't chase after money. 

4. Serve others. Do good things for others, and good things will come to you. 

This is true what Phillip Riggs' is saying because not everything is about money even though we love it. If you work hard for what you love than that's a good thing because at the end you are going to end up being happy for what you do. You should do something that interest's you because you will still have money but if you don't enjoy dong that certain job than you will probably get annoyed. You should also try and doing nice things for others and helping out in some type of way because good things can come to you someday when least expected.

My favorite world record out of the three was the one of the girl with the lowest limbo because I found it funny that she set a record of that and its also pretty cool that she did. 

No, I am not interested in setting a world record.

When you don't know how to make a decision or struggling to make one the best option you can make is to do the right thing is what Theodore is trying to say. So when you are debating on what to to do at a hard moment just remember that you should pick or go with the correct thing. Especially if it is a majorly big decision you should go with the right thing.

 

Respiratory Therapist 

Duties and Responsibilities: Treat patients who have difficult breathing problems. May also give patients suffering from heart attacks, other cardiac events, accidents, drowning and etc.. 

Salary: $55,870 

Education: Minimum associate's degree , clinical internships in respiratory therapy

Reflection: I would like to be this if but it wouldn't be my first choice.

This quote means that you won't get nothing in doing something wrong. So when you do something wrong it won't make you fell better or make you a better person according to Wilford. You won't gain anything. Doing something correct might gain you something. 

Happy Mothers Day 

On Sunday my brother and I went out and bought my mom some flowers and balloons to tell her Happy Mothers Day. Even though I don't always behave good and show appreciation or  give thanks for the things she does and provides me I am really thankful for everything  she does for me. Happy Mothers Day is the day you show your mom appreciation for everything she can provide you with. Tell her and show her that you are grateful.

What this is saying is that steping up and doing something positive is the correct thing to do at the right moment. For example if you see someone getting bully even though its not a great moment for the one that's getting bully. That's a perfect moment to step in for somebody and defend them because you are doing the right thing for steping up for someone who is getting hurt. You should always step up in what you believe in at the right moment and time.

Duties and Responsibilities: Speech Pathologist help others who have trouble speaking, swallowing, and language. Also help those who speech is affected by various emotions, learning disabilities, and physical impairments.

Education: Master's degree 

 

Reflection: No, I wouldn't be this because I feel that I wouldn't enjoy doing this.

What this quote is saying is that it sets an example on how he is saying that he’d never break a promise and rather die than break it. No matter how bad he was  tortured or trapped he still wouldn’t break a promise. This is trying to teach us that we should always keep our word of honor.
